Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the TalkFlow iPhone app and the TalkFlow Cloud service operated by TalkFlow. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
The service
TalkFlow is a voice-first writing keyboard for iPhone. It records short audio clips you trigger, transcribes them via TalkFlow Cloud, cleans them into structured text, and inserts the result into your active app.
Account & access
You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.
Subscriptions & billing
- Free tier: a recurring free allowance, with no trial and no expiry. Every month includes 5 minutes of dictation, and each week includes 7 Ask AI uses, 7 translations, and 7 Improve uses. When an allowance runs out, that feature waits until it resets; the rest of the app stays open.
- Paid plans: monthly or yearly via Apple In-App Purchase. Prices and any introductory offers are shown in the app and confirmed by Apple before checkout.
- Auto-renew applies to monthly and yearly subscriptions. Manage renewal in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Refund requests go through Apple - Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or reportaproblem.apple.com.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to break a law or harass others.
- Submit content you don't have the right to process - recordings of third parties without consent, copyrighted audio, etc.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the rate limits.
- Try to share, resell, or proxy your subscription to other users.
Your content
Audio you record and text we return belong to you. We don't store either; transcripts and cleaned text exist only in memory during one request and are discarded when the response returns. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Service availability
TalkFlow Cloud is provided “as is.” We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Upstream providers (transcription, language models) may have their own outages outside our control.
Changes
We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be highlighted in the app before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TalkFlow is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
